Family Ties Counseling Center prides itself on providing highly ethical care to our community. This course will teach you everything from how to conduct an initial session to treatment planning with your clients. This course is designed for pre-licensed clinicians (e.g. Student Interns & Associates).
DEI
Allow four Hours
This DEI training is intended for all employees of FTCC. DEI stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a discipline, DEI is any policy or practice that promotes people of various backgrounds to feel welcome, seen, and heard, as well as ensure they have support to perform to the fullest of their abilities in the workplace.
Logistical
Allow one hour
Learn all the nuts & bolts and tips & tricks of being a clinician at Family Ties Counseling Center. This course will guide you through how to use TheraBill (our EHR), Spruce (our communication platform), “In the Know” (Our internal website), and the scheduling flow work.
Documentation
Allow three hours
Doing excellent documentation takes time to learn. This course will teaching you the different formats for doing progress notes, charting for individuals vs families, documenting for medical necessity, following the golden thread, and more.
